It was a Saturday morning and I was on my way to take some images of a young family with their children in South West London. I had the privilege of taking some photographs for them before, so it was very exciting to see them again with an additional member to their family, a newborn baby boy, who had been born only five days before.
I had such a lovely and warm welcome from everyone, and I couldn’t stop smiling at a little toddler who was not even one and half years old pointing and shouting constantly at his baby brother saying “baby…baby..baby” Bless him! He was obviously very proud and happy to have his little baby brother at home.
The whole session was an absolute pleasure, full of laughter and fun but there were some moments, which were incredibly touching and beautiful to witness. It was so nice to be able to see and capture these special moments for the whole family and, yes, newborns are miracles..
Some friends of mine recently asked me if I could take some photographs on their wedding day, which was an honour for me to do, as I value them, as good friends. I was just hoping that on their special day, it was going to be nice weather with good light to take the photos.
It was an early morning when I was on my way to Kent, where the wedding was going to take a place. It was bitterly cold and foggy at that time and I started to become a bit worried on the train about the weather conditions but thankfully, at least it wasn’t raining…
When I arrived, everyone was very busy, but on the other hand extremely calm and especially my heavily pregnant friend “the bride”, whose eyes were sparkling with happiness…
The whole ceremony and reception was beautiful. I met such lovely people and it was nice to see the warm family harmony and sense of humour between everyone , which is so essential. It was a day when everyone is happy.
And I couldn’t have wished for better weather on that day in the end, because it was absolutely stunning, with a clear blue sky…
